Letter: Downtown blocks perfect area for multi-family housing

Seeing a story about the proposed Buddhist meditation centre on Cowrie, reminded me that the blocks between Trail and Ocean and Cowrie and Dolphin (at least) need to be rezoned for multi-family dwellings. These large lots could easily have three-storey apartment buildings. There are no views to block. Residents would have no need for a car. Density would be created where it ought to be, not in the suburbs. The OCP is under review. Let’s get it right this time.
