What a thoughtful letter in the Sept. 4 Coast Reporter from Mike Evans (“Against the public will”). I agree completely with every point he makes. It should be mandatory reading for all the SCRD directors. Hopefully they will arrange for a referendum on individual water metering before the project proceeds any further. The views of the Sunshine Coast residents must be placed above the agenda of SCRD bureaucrats and their chosen consultants.
