With ever-denser communities come increased noise levels and frequent use of power tools for yard maintenance. Two years ago I bought a battery-operated weed eater, lawn mower and blower to use around the restaurants and businesses I maintain. The tools are so much quieter and I have had endless interest and compliments from the public on my equipment. I also find it easier on my body and my head after a whole day of cutting lawns. Because I work on commercial properties, I have two batteries, each lasting about an hour and a half, that I interchange, but even with one battery it only takes 10 or 15 minutes in the charger. In my two years of using these products, I have had no trouble, no gas to buy, no cords to drag around, no repair costs, and my nerves are less frazzled. I would love to encourage people to consider changing to battery-operated equipment; it helps our community.
