I would like to send out my sincere appreciation to the many people who came to this summer’s Gibsons historical walking tours. Your energy, enthusiasm, and many questions and comments made sharing my hometown’s unique and very colourful history truly special.
I would also like to thank Coast Reporter for putting the walks in the events column along with a wonderful article from Jan DeGrass.
The last walk of this year will be Saturday, Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. at Pioneer Park by the George Gibson statue lasting 90 minutes by donation.
To show my appreciation on this walk I will be having a draw for a copy of my father’s book, The Gibsons Landing Story. To qualify you just have to be there by 10 a.m., put your name in the jar and complete the walk.
