The latest disappointment with electoral reform being summarily cancelled is so blatant and so cynical. It breaks a clear election promise and locks Canadians into a broken system for God knows how long.
How are we supposed to see a real difference between Trudeau and Harper? Truly sickening!
There is nothing to say in defence of the many broken promises, favouring political expediency over what is right to do for our collective future.
Democratic reform was a last hope for improving how Canadians govern themselves, for defending our environment, for defending social justice, for creating honour, integrity and accountability in government, for truly reflecting diverse Canadian voices in decision making in our so-called democracy. Shame.
If that is the best Liberals can do they won’t see my vote ever again. Ever.
