Lack of bridge support

It is very interesting to see all of these Sunshine Coast residents going on about BC Ferries trying to improve their pathetic service. Where were all these people when this government was looking at a bridge connection to the Sunshine Coast? We could get rid of BC Ferries service to the Sunshine Coast altogether.

If our forward-thinking politicians and provincial government had supported this initiative rather than looking ahead in their rear-view mirrors, we could have done something to improve living on the Lower Mainland and the Sunshine Coast. We should be protecting the Fraser Valley for farming and allow development along the Sunshine Coast where the air and living conditions are much more desirable. We might even get some people to move here that can deal with our water and highway conditions, which seem out of reach to our current elected officials.

When we get a government with foresight rather than hindsight, let’s support a bridge connection to the Sunshine Coast so people realize we are not an island and living conditions will be better for all – no more ferry.
