Joyous performance

Letters

Editor:

I’ve just returned from enjoying a performance of Hansel and Gretel. What a wonderful and joyous performance it was. The gifted young people were simply better in their roles than a person could believe. Along with a full house audience, I laughed until I was breathless.

Sitting with Mrs. Phil Murray, who had treated me to the wonderful afternoon, I found that from time to time I would recall many times when I’d danced in that hall. Sometimes these memories were very sad, but all worth remembering.

That old community hall, as well as I, could tell some tales.
