Thank you, Roger Lagasse, for the informative letter, “Free land a Canadian tradition” (Coast Reporter, June 24) – in particular, the information of what happened in Libya. I knew Libya was the most educated country in Africa, but I didn’t know the information you provided. The United States does not have a good record in foreign affairs. What you say they did in Libya is no different than their actions in many other countries.
