Helping hand

Letters

Editor:

I am directing this letter to the two people who were at the IGA mall in Gibsons at around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18. I came walking across the parking lot at the Gibsons Clinic as my wife and I were just about to get into our car when my shoe caught the top of the sidewalk. I fell forward trying to break my fall; as I landed on my right hand, my right thumb broke at 90 degrees with the bone sticking out.

I am 66 years old and I found a refreshing helping hand. The gentleman helped me to the health clinic, and not only that, they helped my wife search for all our stuff we dropped. I would like to thank them both for the help they gave to us … and if we ever get to meet them again, a big thank you for the help to a fellow man.
