On Saturday, Nov. 4, the Hopkins branch of the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary will be holding its annual Fall Bazaar and Marketplace in Gibsons from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  This year’s fundraiser will be held in the Royal Canadian Legion at 747 Gibsons Way. All funds raised will go directly to support healthcare on the Coast. Our auxiliary volunteers work tirelessly in many ways, such as operating the gift stop and the loan cupboard at the hospital, operating the thrift store, as well as providing care and comfort services to the residents at Totem Lodge and Sechelt Hospital’s second-floor extended care facility. The Hopkins branch, with 78 members, is one of four branches on the Coast.

This year’s bazaar and marketplace fundraiser will include a white elephant sale (tableware, kitchenware, household items, textiles, collectibles and more), fabulous jewelry, books, homemade baked goods, driftwood lottery tree and raffle draw. Come by and enjoy delicious homemade soup and sandwich for lunch, along with homemade dessert, tea and coffee.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, Nov. 4. We hope you will join us to support this worthy cause.
