I am writing in regards to the ignorant people who pass on the right, especially at transit bus/school bus stops. We see this all the time at Poplars Trailer Park in the 1400 block of Highway 101 just outside Gibsons. We have complained to the correct authorities to no avail, yet not only is this illegal, but extremely dangerous for anyone at the bus stops.
We see mothers with children, teens with headphones, elderly people, people on bikes - they all step out or stretch to check for the bus. Someone is going to be hit or killed.
Have some patience, people. We need safe bus stops and bike lanes. No passing on the right. You are being warned.
