The regular Friday morning collection of the contents of garbage cans in our part of the District of Sechelt has just taken place again, right on time, 8:15 a.m. It would be a rare occasion if it were any other time.
Here I will express my gratitude to the crews and staff whose job it is to ensure that the health of the residents and employees of business concerns are adequately taken into account, when those crews do their job.
There is little doubt that garbage collection is unpleasant work to undertake but so necessary. The dump is not the prettiest sight but it is taken care of with its organized approach to keep things tidy.
My sincere thanks to all involved in the task.
