It is amazing that two of Sechelt’s candidates for mayor have suddenly put water at the top of their agenda. One who relates to a heron and did nothing during his term on the SCRD and one who spent seven years on council and did nothing on the water situation, have suddenly seen the light.
I think the residents of Sechelt and surrounding areas have George Goudie to thank if the next mayor actually does something regarding our water supply.
It would be refreshing to see a new mayor – however, it is worth noting that some of our dead wood have finally seen the light. Thank you, George.
