The impact of the documentary movie Miss Representation was astounding. Everyone on the Coast should have seen this material. In fact, the whole country needs to be hit in the face with it.
The shock of pictures, statistics, the unconscionable media misrepresentation and outright disgrace to society as a whole - to men as well as women - is outrageous and shameful, to say the least.
Wake upeveryone - we aren't the advanced, respectable society we like to think we are. In fact, this movie shows the degradation of great historical societies before their death and destruction.
It starts with you and me. Not acting on our moral conscience and standing up for whatweknow is right gives way to complacency, moral decay and the ultimate breakdown of our society.
