Your Feb. 5 story about a BC Ferries survey (“BC Ferries mulls reservation system changes for Route 3”) stated that the respondents – a mere 285 people – were “divided” on whether to give Sunshine Coast residents priority boarding. But it failed to indicate how divided. Was it 20 per cent against? Or 80 per cent?
On such a question, BC Ferries should survey only Coast residents because they are ferry dependent. I wonder how many of those would favour the status quo with interminable waits on the other side when they’re simply trying to get home.
