Editor:
Two suggestions for improving ferries:
1. The cross-channel ferries have cars pull up to within one foot. Surely we can do the same.
2. Have walk-ons and offs more co-ordinated and punctual. For those who dawdle or are late, make them wait until all vehicle traffic is taken care of. There are far too many last-minuters on this run.
