On behalf of the Elves Club, I am writing to ask for your support to help with our Christmas Hamper 2010 distribution.
Last year we had a great response, and together as a community, we prepared and delivered hampers to 760 households on our Coast. Each was filled with food, gifts and extras to help bring the feeling of Christmas into the homes.
An Elves Club membership is one penny a day and one food item per month. We ask that you consider becoming a member or giving a donation or both. We are in need of donations of non-perishable food items and gifts for all ages, baby up to grandparents. This would make a huge difference come the holiday time. Drop off depots will be open soon.
The Elves Club Telethon will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Gibsons Heritage Theatre from 2 to 10 p.m. Tune in for the entertainment, call in with a pledge. Visit us for an on air presentation, and enjoy the entertainment first hand.
Join in the hamper filling Dec. 16 and 17. Deliver on Dec. 18 at Christian Life Assembly Church in Gibsons. Your support is appreciated.
