I am writing to thank you for your facilitation and to thank the upcoming grad students who participated in this year's Gibsons Landing Fibre Arts Festival (GLFAF).
Our 10th anniversary festival was a resounding success due in part to the marvellous involvement and support we received from the 2010 grad class committee and students.
The grad committee did a stellar job of organizing the volunteers and following up with their classmates to ensure the attendance for all the shifts required. They were the most successful group of grads we have had the pleasure of working with.
I had the distinct impression that these young people, as a group, are responsible and respectful. They seem to have a bond and work well with each other and the people they are in contact with. All our volunteers, the merchants, etc., who they were assisting, commented on how polite and helpful they were. I was particularly impressed with the core group and see success in their future. I have told several of them to contact me if they ever want a personal recommendation for a resume.
