This latest process has been undemocratic and has never been brought forward to the public for input. The sitting Sechelt council members are only temporary guardians of our natural treasures and should take this latest reason to spend highway tax money to the public for discussion. This Ministry of Highways money should be going towards the new bypass.

Every tourist who comes to the Sunshine Coast for the first time has their breath taken away as they come around the corner into Davis Bay. Is there another place like this on the Sunshine Coast?

This park is the most visually beautiful jewel in the crown of Davis Bay, and we should not be thinking of eroding it, but adding more green space, landscaping and seating, maybe even a bike path. It is one of the best assets Sechelt has for tourism and one of the reasons why I want to live in Davis Bay.
