I see the Tim Hortons in Sechelt is now open for business. This is just a reminder to all that by going into the store instead of idling your car at the pick-up window, you can do your part to prevent more greenhouse gas emissions from your car on the Coast. Similarly, asking for a ceramic mug or, even better, bringing your own will drastically cut down on all the paper cups and plastic lids that eventually end up in our landfill. Simple acts, by a large number of people, can make a difference.
