Don’t cry about gas

Letters

Editor:

I see that the Sunshine Coast Labour Council is once again complaining about high gas prices (“Regulate price of gas,” Letters, May 10). This seems to be a never-ending complaint on the Coast. If the price is higher in Gibsons than Sechelt, we cry about price gouging. If the prices are identical, we claim it’s collusion. Want to spend less on gas? Use less – whether by walking, taking transit, car-pooling, riding a bike, getting an electric car, or just driving less. Like it or not, climate change is the issue, not gas prices.
