The statement that the scientific consensus of alarmist man-made global warming is over, and 97 per cent of scientists agree that humans are responsible, was debunked in 2008.
Consensus is never science, Newton proved that. The science of our sun, the planets and our universe is changing yearly. A total of 31,487 American scientists in good standing, including 9,029 PhDs, have signed a petition urging the U.S. government to reject the global warming agreement that was written in Kyoto Japan in December 1997. One of the scientists worked with Albert Einstein at Princeton University Physics department. Google “Dyson Freeman 2015” for a common-sense explanation of the science of climate.
The world is coming out of a glaciation period that had a glacier sitting on Toronto and there has been slow warming since that time. We will be going back into another period of glaciation where there will be another ice sheet lying over most of Canada. This takes about 100,000 years, and we have been through five that we know of. The scientist to look at for this information is “Milankovitch cycles of tilts and wobbles.”
Since the last period of glaciation, there have been over five warming periods before the industrial revolution that were more than 200 years long. One was called the medieval warming period when the Vikings found a green Greenland.
Roger Revelle, considered the grandfather of global warming, said in 1991 that people are always saying the weather’s getting worse. Actually, the CO2 increase is predicted to temper weather extremes. Read more of his interview with Omni magazine on Google.
The study of climate is not right or left in politics. Climate should only be about science, so do your own research and don’t trust what I say or anyone else says. The future may be in our sun.
