Dopeople understand the consequences if the current wastewater treatment "coalition" has their way, and causes Sechelt to lose the funding associated with this project, that the taxpayers are on the hook for the costs of the project?

Dopeople understand that even if the new wastewater treatment plant was located on Lot L, in Porpoise Bay, that the existing, problematic Ebbtide plant would not be relocated, or even addressed? What that means is that the Ebbtide residents who are bothered by the stink of the current plant in their neighbourhood would not have had any hope of changing the quality of the air surrounding their homes. However, in the throes of misinformation that's being injected into the community, these simple facts have gotten lost in the fear-mongering campaign set forth by Sechelt's sewage coalition.

Be reasonable. The contract is signed and the deal is done. Don't hurt Sechelt further by listening to these captains of propaganda. Don't force Sechelt taxpayers to bear the cost of this project by buying into the lies and half truths that could upset the government funding if they gain momentum.
