An enthusiastic shout-out to the Paladin Security person who was on duty at the Sechelt Seniors Activity Centre vaccination clinic on Thursday, April 8.
The clinic had closed from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch without informing people, so there was soon a large crowd of unhappy people waiting for up to an hour in a cold wind. The Paladin man suddenly got the idea of presenting his standard COVID information lecture to the entire crowd as a pretend cruise ship info session, and in no time had everyone laughing enthusiastically. He turned an organizational faux pas into a wonderfully distracting entertainment.
Vancouver Coastal Health, you owe him.
