The opposition toa proposed new cell tower at Gibsons fire hall isa case where NIMBY is completely justified. Kudos to those who've taken the time to inform themselves about the health hazardsunregulated by Canada's Safety Code 6 which considers only heating effects. When talking to people at the Earth Day celebrations this year, I found most, especially those with young children,were opposed to having wireless transmitters (Smart Meters)attached to their homes.
