Canadian oil

Letters

Editor:

National wealth for us profound,

Buried treasure in the ground.

Cash flow to our social coffers,

Services we need it offers.

The magic age of oil not dead,

There are a hundred years ahead.

Movie stars and Europeans,

Eco-Fascists, holy see-ums,

Pointing fingers at our oil,

For which we drill and dig and toil.

They think we’re nice with kindly ways,

Just like our charming PM says.

We burn some ’cause we’re vast and cold,

And some to U.S.A. is sold.

We do not want to freeze or pay,

While watching others making hay.
