Editor:
I thank both Coast Reporter and Dr. Klein for his article about vaccines on March 15.
I do and highly advise others to obtain vaccines for their children. I think it is important that the fake science spouted by the anti-vaxxer crowd be called out. Unfortunately, there is a core group that WANTS to believe there is some giant shadowy conspiracy to poison us all, or to make money over the corpses of our children. Somehow they believe that all over the world, doctors, researchers, scientists have all conspired to lie about vaccines.
Why do practically all physicians get their children inoculated?
When you pay attention to those who spout illogic, use references to “scientific articles” whose authors have PhD after their names instead of MD, and assume that your physician is intentionally lying to you but someone on the Internet is telling the truth – you probably believe that cancer can be cured by moonlight.
Imagine if your child got off lucky with only a mild case of measles, but fatally infected your neighbour’s child.
Vaccinate – and loudly encourage others to do so.
