Blooming wonderful

Editor:

I see from last week’s paper that the Town of Gibsons recognizes the need to spend some money to promote tourism in our town.

I suggest our mayor and council start by finding a way to allow Liz Williams to remain in her floating harbour home. Her amazing floral displays are second only to Molly’s Reach as a tourist attraction, and have done more to promote tourism than any other initiative I’ve see in my 33 years on the Coast.

It’s time for common sense to prevail.
