Premier Clark, I am appalled at both the disrespect and the outright theft of the Peace River area you are enforcing on the inhabitants there. This is so un-Canadian.
Do you think it’s right to emulate what China has done with its rivers? How utterly sad and disgusting this would be.
Right through history, the First Nations have been brutalized and treaty after treaty broken (read The Inconvenient Indian by Thomas King). It’s about time both the federal and the provincial governments rectify this situation.
As a proud citizen of B.C., I am hoping you will stop the devastation that is taking place on Site C, allowing me as well as my fellow British Columbians to remain proud citizens without shame.
