Editor:
I strongly believe you are incorrect in assuming that we are being indoctrinated by our teachers and that climate change is not a big deal for us to learn about in school. The whole world is being affected by climate change. For example, in Australia the temperature has and is rising a lot.
I remember the Sechelt forest fire, where it was raining ash from the sky. My dad is a firefighter, so he would leave at 6 a.m., be gone all day and then get back at 10 p.m. This could be climate change’s fault because of the dry weather.
I believe we need to fight climate change and I think it is foolish for you to think that we are being indoctrinated by our teachers. I’m hoping you change your mind about climate change and stop saying that climate change is not a big deal.
