Regarding the disharmony at Harmony Hall (Coast Reporter, April 16) as someone who has just turned 62, I was astounded to read that, in a mere three years, I will have had it with going out at night, and especially with dancing (according to Ms. Goddard who says evening activities are unwelcome because the Seniors Society wants to offer only those activities "appropriate to members over 65")! Golly, and here I thought us baby boomers would go dancing on as long as our legs held out!

Well, if joining the Seniors Society is the equivalent of admitting to having one foot in the grave, then I guess I won't be joining anytime soon. In any case, when I'm 65, I plan to be doing a lot of off-shore sailing with my partner, George.
