Re: Assisted dying.
At last count there were an estimated 7.4 billion people on this cute little planet, and David Attenborough tells us that the planet is capable of providing sustainable support for about two to three billion.
We spend trillions of dollars trying to keep people alive as long as possible (thereby bankrupting future generations), but if a guy puts his hand up and says, “I’m ready to leave,” we say “No! You must continue to live in misery and discomfort for as long as we can keep you alive.”
“Oh, and in B.C. that will be $136 per month, please” for health care insurance.
