It is with disappointment that I read in the June 15 edition of your paper that Sunshine Coast residents will have to wait until at least 2024 to receive a second ferry on the Horseshoe Bay-Langdale route. Seems to me this is a very long wait for something people have desired for years. Typical Ferry Corp attitude: ask people what they want and then deny it as long as possible. Why is it not possible to purchase a used ferry before 2024? Where are the FastCats when you need them? Unfortunately, it appears Sunshine Coast residents and what they want has a very low priority with this organization.
