Tenth annual Black Boot event a success

The tenth annual Black Boot event was held Nov. 30 at the Sechelt Legion. Organized by Sandie Lanskail, Craig Moore and Nancy Palmer-Moore (pictured), the fundraiser is held annually in support of the Ruby Slipper fund, which offers help to people in our community affected by cancer. This year's event raised over $28,000. The organizers said, "It was a successful night, with great volunteers and community support. We are overwhelmed! Thanks to everyone."
