Both the Roberts Creek Community Hall and Masonic Hall were filled with people March 9 for One Straw Society’s annual Seedy Saturday. The event is hosted in partnership with Sunshine Coast Seed Collective, Roberts Creek Farm Gate Market, Roberts Creek Community Market and Grandmothers and Grandothers. Vendors sold non-GMO seeds, live plants, seedlings and gardening merchandise. A community seed exchange also took place as well as a “swap shop” to exchange gardening books and tools. The event also featured live music by Bonar inside the hall, and Phil and Stephanie outside in the sun (pictured).
