The Sunshine Coast Model Railroad Club will have a new home for 2020.

Club members held their last “operating session” at their current location in Gibsons earlier this month before setting to work dismantling the setup in preparation for the move to a new home in Sechelt.

The HO scale layout, which covers around 30 sq. metres (320 sq. feet), is being broken down into around 20 different modules, which will be reassembled at the new clubhouse.

Because of the move, the club decided not to hold its usual November open house.

Instead the club is planning an open house for early 2020, which will mark its 30th anniversary.
