Fencing stolen from lot next to hospital

Sunshine Coast RCMP are investigating the reported theft of several sections of fence from the vacant lot located next to Sechelt Hospital.

About 80 panels of blue fencing were stolen from the property. It is believed the theft occurred between March 17 at 6 p.m. and March 18 at 6 a.m.

Surveillance video captured a dark truck towing a trailer with what appears to be the stolen fence. The truck is seen at the intersection of Wharf Avenue at Sunshine Coast Highway in Sechelt at 3:19 a.m. on March 18 and was last seen heading west toward Gibsons.
