Unanticipated rain in July has reduced the demand for water, but Stage 3 water restrictions are still in effect for those on the Sunshine Coast Regional District’s Chapman water system.

A section of Highway 101 between Davis Bay and Sechelt was reduced to single-lane traffic for 45 minutes on Friday morning due to an accident that caused minor injuries. RCMP were called at 8:53 a.m.
