Small wildfire west of Sechelt extinguished
The wildfire in West Sechelt has been put out. Fire V53065 was updated as extinguished at 2:33 p.m. on Aug. 31. A combination of bucketing support and an initial ground attack quickly contained and suppressed the fire.
