Sunshine Coast RCMP reported the following for June 21 to 28: A witness reported a possible impaired driver on Highway 101 near Pratt Road after noting a vehicle with substantial front end damage being driven by a driver who appeared to be intoxicate

Sunshine Coast RCMP reported the following for June 21 to 28:

A witness reported a possible impaired driver on Highway 101 near Pratt Road after noting a vehicle with substantial front end damage being driven by a driver who appeared to be intoxicated. Police located the driver who advised she had taken some medication before driving, and had struck a parked vehicle earlier, but had left the scene. The driver was issued a violation ticket for failing to stop after a collision.

On June 21, a hit and run occurred in the parking lot of a business in the 6000 block of Sechelt Inlet Road. A witness was able to note the license plate number of the dark coloured vehicle and a driver description. Police are following up with the suspect vehicle's registered owner.

Overnight on June 22 a thief gained entry into an unlocked vehicle parked in the 5500 block of Wharf Road and stole some change and a silver Wenger flashlight.

On June 23, a thief gained entry into an unlocked vehicle parked in the 5500 block of Highway 101 and stole a purse and wallet. The wallet contained several pieces of personal identification, including a SIN card and birth certificate. Police remind the public that your SIN card and birth certificate, which are extremely attractive to identity thieves, should be left at home in a secure place, unless required for some reason. Police also wish to remind the public to lock their vehicles.

On June 23, a thief gained entry into an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1500 block of Cypress Way and stole a wallet that had been left inside.

- On June 23, a vandal broke a number of exterior lights at an address in the 600 block of North Road.
