A two-vehicle accident occurred in the 7900 block of Highway 101 after the first vehicle stopped to make a right turn and the vehicle behind it was unable to stop in time to avoid a rear-end collision. The driver of the first vehicle was taken to St Mary's Hospital to be checked out for minor injuries. The driver of the second vehicle was issued a violation ticket for following too closely.

A three-vehicle accident occurred on Highway 101 near Snodgrass Road in Sechelt after the first vehicle failed to stop in time to avoid hitting the rear of a stopped second vehicle. This collision pushed the second car into the rear of a third car, which was also stopped for traffic. A few of the involved parties were taken to hospital for medical attention. The driver of the first car was issued a violation ticket for driving without due care and consideration.

On June 9, a thief entered an unlocked residence in the 6000 block of Sechelt Inlet Road while the owners were away for less than 20 minutes. The thief stole some cash and tobacco from a table near the entry door.

On June 11, a passerby reported that a manhole cover in the 5700 block of Trail Avenue in Sechelt had somehow flipped up in the air and landed on the road, exposing the manhole. While a member was en-route to the scene, a vehicle drove over the exposed manhole and blew a tire and damaged a rim. The vehicle was towed away and the manhole cover replaced.

A witness called in a possible impaired driver leaving the 900 block of Gibsons Way, and provided police with the suspect and vehicle description, licence plate, and direction of travel. Police attended and located the suspect a short distance away standing outside his vehicle. The male was clearly impaired and admitted to consuming alcohol and being unfit to drive. He was issued a 24-hour driving prohibition and his vehicle was towed.

On June 12, vandals threw eggs at a truck driving along Highway 101 near Roberts Creek Roadd and hit the windshield. The driver, an off-duty police officer, turned his vehicle around, and went to a nearby golf course and looked for the culprits. The driver came upon two males overheard talking about throwing objects at passing cars. The driver spoke to the young males and was directing them to his vehicle when police arrived. The driver did not wish for charges, but wanted his truck cleaned, so the suspects used their shirts and rags to wash the car, and apologized for their actions.

Late on June 12, a resident in the 1600 block of North Road in Gibsons heard a loud bang and when he went out to investigate the next morning, he discovered that someone had used some kind of explosive device to blow up his mailbox. No injuries or other property damage were reported.

The driver and lone occupant, who was uninjured, admitted to falling asleep at the wheel while driving northbound, and going into the oncoming lane before waking up. The driver overcorrected and ended up in the ditch. The driver was issued a violation ticket for driving without due care, and the vehicle was towed.
