Sunshine Coast RCMP have issued a public warning to illicit drug users about a substance that is being sold as heroin on the Sunshine Coast, which puts them at an increased risk.
The Sunshine Coast RCMP have learned that Fentanyl has been sold in the area and marketed as heroin.
"All illicit drugs are inherently dangerous, but because people buying this substance believe it is something else, it increases that likelihood that they will have an adverse reaction or risk death," said Sunshine Coat RCMP Media Relations Officer Cpl Steve Chubey,
