Vacuum cleaner thieves sought

Sunshine Coast RCMP are seeking a pair of vacuum thieves who were last seen running down Highway 101 in ts'uḵw'um – formerly Wilson Creek. Polices said the theft occurred on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at about 5:45 p.m.

Sunshine Coast RCMP are seeking a pair of vacuum thieves who were last seen running down Highway 101 in ts'uḵw'um – formerly Wilson Creek.

Polices said the theft occurred on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at about 5:45 p.m., when two male suspects entered the Canadian Tire store in the 4300 block of Highway 101 and filled up a shopping cart with an assortment of items including a lug nut set and two iRobot Roomba vacuums.
The pair then fled the premises with the stolen goods.

Both suspects are males in their twenties – one was dressed in black, the other was dressed in beige and carried a grey backpack – and were last seen running west along the highway.

Police say they are reviewing security video footage and the file is still under investigation.
