First responders Thursday are attending a crash on Highway 101 at Nestman Road in Selma Park outside of Sechelt.

RCMP received a call at 11:35 a.m. March 18 for a two-vehicle collision, said Sunshine Coast RCMP Const. Karen Whitby. A driver made the call, and there are “unknown patient injuries.”

As of 12:30 p.m. first responders were still at the scene.

This is the second crash in the area in the last week. On March 11, a vehicle heading north drove off the road and into a telephone pole, causing traffic delays in the afternoon. The driver and occupant did not need to be hospitalized, but the car sustained significant damage and had to be towed, according to an RCMP report.

More to come.
