Update as of 11:55 am: Please be advised that the Queen of Surrey has cancelled the following sailings due to mechanical difficulties experienced earlier today:12:20 pm departing Langdale1:20 pm departing Horseshoe Bay
The cancelled round trip will allow the vessel to return to operating on the published schedule effective with the 2:30 pm departure from Langdale. School student and business commuter sailings will operate at their published times.
ORIGINAL STORY:B.C. Ferries has issued an advisory this morning that the Langdale - Horseshoe Bay route is 61 minutes behind schedule due to mechanical difficulties.
An update as of 8:25 a.m. Jan. 24 stated: "Please be advised that the Queen of Surrey is currently operating 61 minutes behind schedule due to mechanical difficulties. Customers with reservations are advised to check in at the terminals in accordance with the scheduled sailing times in order to maintain their reserved status."
