With 76 per cent of Sunshine Coast residents 50 years and older having received three COVID-19 vaccinations, it looks like the majority of those on the Coast are prepared to get their fourth jab.

Coast Reporter polled 676 readers and asked the question: Will you get your fourth COVID-19 vaccine shot when you become eligible?

The poll ran from April 13 to April 21. Of the 676 votes, we can determine that 179 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:

Yes 75.98 % local, 71.15 % total
No 24.02 % local, 28.85 % total
  Local   Total

Results are based on an online study of adult Coast Reporter readers who are located in Sechelt. The margin of error - which measures sample variability - is +/- 3.64%, 19 times out of 20.
