Highway 101 is getting another set of traffic lights – at least until Oct. 14.

The road construction at Joe/Orange Road and Highway 101 will see portable traffic lights direct overnight single-lane traffic through the section of highway from Sept. 26 to Oct. 14.

"Traffic lights will only be used outside regular works hours in limited sections of the project and will not be used in the intersection," a notice from BA Blacktop Ltd. to residents read. "Please expect traffic pattern changes within the construction zone."

Work hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., a spokesperson for BA Blacktop Ltd. told Coast Reporter. "Traffic lights should be used outside of those hours and as needed on the job site."
