Target back to council April 4

The official community plan and zoning amendment bylaws that were passed to allow Target Marine Hatcheries to harvest sturgeon for caviar onsite will be back before council for consideration of first reading April 4.

The official community plan and zoning amendment bylaws that were passed to allow Target Marine Hatcheries to harvest sturgeon for caviar onsite will be back before council for consideration of first reading April 4.

The bylaws that were passed in January of this year were later quashed in Vancouver Supreme Court when a legal challenge was filled based on procedural errors.

Sechelt Mayor John Henderson said council plans to go through the process again, making sure all procedures are followed "to the T."
