Wet conditions on May 21 means potholes are filled with water, a warning to drivers and pedestrians.

How much did it rain yesterday?  Environment Canada’s website states 29.6 millimetres (mm) fell and in there records that was almost double the highest amount of precipitation received in our area on the date of May 21 between 2008 and 2023. During that timespan, 2012 held the past record, at 15.5 mm of the wet stuff for that calendar day.

Weatherhood predicts while May 22 will start off sunny, the rain may return later in the day.  May 23 is predicted to be dry, but come Friday showers are slated to return and re-fill our highway and road potholes with splash supplies. Drivers and pedestrians, you are warned.
