The Sunshine Coast Fruit Tree project is looking for volunteers to join the steering committee.
The idea is simple - the project connects people with excess fruit on their backyard trees with those who have the time and energy to harvest it.Project harvests are divided in thirds to the tree owners, pickers, and to non-profit organizations.
Volunteer roles can vary from being a pick leader, transporting fruit for the project, attending meetings, administrative duties, and fundraising.
